Benefits

-Sleeping on a satin or silk pillowcase

Sleeping on a satin or silk pillowcase can help your skin to look refreshed when you wake up each morning. This is because it causes less friction on your face than a cotton pillowcase does. It also helps your skin retain moisture and can reduce split end and bedhead because of the soft and gentle fabric.

-Sleeping on your back

Sleeping on your back minimizes wrinkles. Also, if you have neck and/or back problems, this can help reduce the pain.

-Using night cream,lip balm,and eyelash conditioner

Using night cream is good for keeping your skin smooth and hydrated throughout the night, and it is another way to minimize wrinkles. Lip balm is pretty self-explanatory it can help keep your lips smooth and unchapped. Eyelash conditioner helps to  thicken and grow your eyelashes.

-Change pillowcase frequently

Changing your pillowcase is a huge must. While you sleep, your skin and hair are all over your pillowcase, and although you washed your face and hair, they still have bacteria and dirt and this transfers onto your pillowcase. If you don’t wash your pillowcase, you are increasing your chances of having really bad acne.

-Wear hair away from face

Wearing hair away from your face relates to the benefits of changing and washing your pillowcase. Like I said before, your hair has dirt and oil in it, even when washed, and if your hair is out while you are asleep, it will touch your face, so all that dirt and oil that’s in your hair will be on your face, which will cause you to break out over time.

-Go to bed with a clean face

I cannot stress this enough. Washing your face and removing your makeup should be apart of your night routine. Sleeping with makeup can cause breakouts and dirty your pillowcase. Also, sleeping with eye makeup like eyeliner on can cause eye infections, and sleeping with mascara can actually thin out your lashes (I speak from experience).

-Get at least 8 hours of sleep

Getting the right amount of sleep is super important. It can benefit your skin,hair,and nails. Also, you’ll feel super happy and refreshed when you wake up, and your undereye bags will diminish and dial down. Getting at least 8 hours of sleep will help you to have lasting energy throughout the day as well.
